Job Purpose:

 

The Shipping and Receiving/Shop Assistant position will be responsible for receiving all incoming materials and prepares and packs good to be shipped. In addition will assist shop foreman with day to day operations including inventory control.

 

Job Summary

 

This position reports to the Shop Foreman. The ideal candidate must be able to multi task and have the ability to work on several tasks each day and hold knowledge of various jobs on the floor throughout the shop. The job will require hands on mechanical work and possibly at times computer related tasks. Candidate must be able to work independently with provided tasks at a high pace oftentimes dealing with supervisors, sales and engineering.

Skills/Qualifications: Knowledge of the principles, practices, materials, tools, and equipment of machinery to be installed. Skill in troubleshooting equipment. Job Purpose:

 

Operate a tilt bed and at times a heavy duty roll back; primarily making delivery and pickups of 20’ and 40’ shipping containers. Rigging, flatbed or machine hauling experience a plus.

 

Job Summary:

 

This position reports to the Depot Manager. Class A CDL license is required. Full time position available is 1st Shift schedule; Monday through Friday with deliveries mainly within a 150-mile radius of the greater Philadelphia region-getting you home every night. Ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of towing and be able to operate cable winch.

 

Responsibilities:

•    Read bills of lading to determine assignment details.

•    Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.

•    Communicate with customer about care and maintenance of our products upon delivery

•    Ability to load flat bed and tilt bed trailers. 

•    Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods.

•    Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.

•    Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.

•    Lifting production objects of up to 50 lbs.

To install customer required electrical packages.  Be able to work alone from electrical drawings.  Calculate total load amperage ratings, wattages, KW & KVA sizes.  Compile parts lists and maintain electrical inventory and have full understanding of the NEC code book.

This position reports to the Electrical Supervisor. The ideal candidate Must be able to work alone.  Able to install everything from main distribution panels with all branch circuits fully wired.  EMT & Rigid pipe bending a must.  Complete understanding of the NEC code book.  Knowledge of Transformers, Generators, motor starters, DC Voltages, alarm wiring, emergency stop circuits all a must. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

•    Accident prevention – correct and/or report any unsafe working conditions before they result in an accident.

•    Identify and implement efficiency improvements, cost reductions and profit improvement initiatives.

•    Inspect and test electrical systems and equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions, using visual inspections, testing devices, and computer software.

•    Plan and manage shipments of parts and tools for field work.

•    Reassemble and test equipment after repairs.

•    Splice wires with knives or cutting pliers, and solder connections to fixtures, outlets, and equipment.

•    Install new fuses, electrical cables, or power sources as required.

•    Locate and remove or repair circuit defects such as blown fuses or malfunctioning transistors.

•    Adjust, repair, or replace defective wiring and relays in ignition, lighting, air-conditioning, and safety control systems, using electrician's tools.

•    Refer to schematics and manufacturers' specifications that show connections and provide instructions on how to locate problems.

•    Operate man lift equipment and ability to perform elevated work.

•    Assist field teams with Relocatable Simulation Shelter (“RSS”) and other field work.

•    Maintain equipment service records.

•    Cut openings and drill holes for fixtures, outlet boxes, and fuse holders, using electric drills and routers.

•    Measure, cut, and install frameworks and conduit to support and connect wiring, control panels, and junction boxes, using hand tools. Able to bend conduit.

•    Lifting production objects of up to 50lbs.
