To perform work in the insulation department, flooring, finishing, MOBU assembly and in other areas where carpentry-type work is needed.
This position reports to the Plant Manager or a department supervisor. The ideal candidate should possess basic carpentry skills and knowledge working with saws and standard carpentry tools.
Accident prevention – correct and/or report any unsafe working conditions before they result in an accident.
Identify and implement efficiency improvements, cost reductions and profit improvement initiatives.
Ability to work with insulation board and similar materials as well as standard lumber products.
Construct crates for parts and other outbound shipments.
Read and interpret engineering drawings independently and execute construction based on these drawings or prints.
Interact with engineering department to resolve construction issues when necessary.
Work with sheet rock, mag board and similar interior construction materials.
Available for possible/occasional travel for field work as needed with advanced notice.
Lifting production objects of up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Performs other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications: Standard carpentry skills needed. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. May require overtime and/or weekend work.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Three to five years of carpentry experience
