Job Description

TRAVELING ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

 

Clean Air Engineering (CleanAir) is a global provider of services and products used to determine the environmental and thermal performance of a multitude of industries. We are currently seeking an employee who can maintain, install and repair air quality measurement equipment and is willing to travel to client sites 50% of the time.  This position requires a working knowledge of electronics, mechanical systems  and the ability to work well with others.  Daily activities include working with equipment inventory/quality control software, procedure management and parts inventory control.  An aptitude for troubleshooting and the ability to talk with clients to solve their technical problems is a big plus.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience

  • a can-do attitude

  • a good working knowledge of Word and Excel

  • ability to lift 65 lbs.

  • ability to climb a 40' ladder

  • effective oral and written communication skills

  • HVAC repair skills a plus

  • willing to travel 50% of the time

  • includes shipping duties

  • must pass drug screen, criminal background check and motor vehicle record review and possess a valid driver’s license.
