Job Description

Job Purpose:

 

Assist and support Sales Executives with all aspects of the Sales department including gathering and analyzing selling and financial information, preparing orders and ensuring accuracy of product and sales information.

 

Job Summary

 

This position reports to the Senior Sales Manager. This position requires extensive software skills, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills. Reporting Skills, Administrative Writing Skills, Microsoft Office Skills, Managing Processes, Organization, Analyzing Information, Professionalism, Problem Solving, Creative thinking and a high level of professionalism.

 

Duties:

 

  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements, cost reductions and profit improvement initiatives.

  • Accident prevention – correct and/or report any unsafe working conditions before they result in an accident.

  • Receive new orders and create new job numbers in all systems as needed for reporting purposes.

  • Follow through on necessary daily changes while maintaining accuracy.

  • Administer all sales analysis by obtaining, and monitoring account’s selling information, completing all related shared network reports accurately and on a timely basis, analyzing data in order to propose possible reorders and identify opportunities and challenges by door.

  • Review and prepare all orders for accuracy before submitting orders for entry, communicate any necessary revisions to sales team, while continuously maintaining the accuracy of all correlating reports and systems.

  • Prepare PO’s, handle invoicing for completed jobs and follow up on billing for Government Accounts.

  • Follow SOP for Government and other contracts’ order processing.

  • Work closely with inventory specialists to monitor shipping and communicate it effectively to the sales team.

  • Assist with other special projects.

  • Run various errands and keep inventory/stock of miscellaneous office supplies.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.

Education: High school diploma or GED,

 

Experience: Work requires previous experience in similar area, basic knowledge of our products and services.1-2 yrs in similar position. Collections experience a plus.
