Job Description



Clean Air Engineering Inc. is a global leader providing measurement services, consulting, and equipment solutions for industrial facilities and is currently looking for a Business Leader for our Rental team in Pittsburgh.  This position is accountable for overseeing and consolidating the efforts of personnel involved in the operations of the team such that customer expectations are met at the highest value possible.


This position will coordinate activities with the Sales and Technical Leaders of the group.  Ultimately, the Business Leader will serve as the leader of this group.  The primary responsibility of the position is to lead the activity of the team.  He/she will be responsible for  the long term success of the group.



Main Job Responsibilities:


  • Bring in work through relationships with clients and submit proposals where needed (act as salesperson)

  •  Responsible for personnel:

    • Health & Safety

    • Project work assignments

    • Attendance

    • Hiring/Terminations

    • Performance reviews

  • Track group level financial performance

  • Auditing of group and individual performance

  • Monitor timelines/deliverables

  • Set goals for individuals within groups

  • Adjust group to meet demands of industry

  • Control spending and cost of doing business

  • Manage the quality system




Requires at least 5 years of experience in an asset-based or environmental engineering discipline leadership position.
