Job Description


To lead the evolution, design, and technology of orthotic and prosthetic product and services in order to empower clinicians and patients to achieve their best outcomes. 



In 1914, George Fillauer Sr. founded the Red Cross Pharmacy, the forerunner of Fiallauer. In the mid-1920's, Fillauer expanded its business to provide orthotic and prosthetic devices as well as patient care. Presently, Fillauer remaines a privately-held company comprised of seven business units, employing just under 300 team members



Fillauer Companies, Inc. is presently seeking a highly skilled Graphics Designer to join our team.  The right candidate will be knowledgeable in all facets of graphic design and demonstrate creativity in their work.  Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.


Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute creative graphic design and provide final design and mechanical art files for packaging labels, sell sheets, point-of-sale materials, brochures & promotional projects

  • Produce on time as required, assigned packaging and marketing materials in support of existing products, product enhancements and new product introductions

  • Ensure that the quality and design of marketing materials and packaging graphics meet and exceed internal and external requirements

  • Participate in conceptualization meetings designed to generate new ideas through discussion and to develop these ideas into viable projects or promotions

  • Manage project work flow from initial design through production within timeliness and budgets.

  • Work closely with other members of the design and marketing teams to ensure smooth process, work flow and deliver marketing collateral within deadlines

  • Ensure brand appropriateness of all collateral material

  • Perform other related or necessary duties as designated

  • Proven track record of working well in a team environment

  • Ensure legal and ethical compliance in all facets of their work


Knowledge and Experience:

  • Associates Degree in related discipline required, Bachelors preferred

  • 1-3 years experience required

  • Familiar with print and digital applications

  • Experience with PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, and MS Power Point required.

  • Videography and Photography experience a plus

  • Requires a high level of organizational skills and an ability to meet deadlines effectively

  • Must be able to prioritize work and work well under pressure.
