Job Description
Overview:
The Regional Business Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the relationships established with key distribution partners in assigned markets within the EU. S/he will interact regularly with both our primary clinical lab partners plus key accounts in various markets that drive demand for Trofile™ - Monogram’s co-receptor tropism assay - through these lab partners. S/he will be responsible for working with EU brand teams from our pharmaceutical partners in assigned markets. She will also be the key point of contact for enlisting additional corporate resources to address concerns of a partner or customers for assigned markets.

Specific Responsibilities include:
• Managing all aspects of partner laboratory relationship including contract management, training, information exchange, co-promotion/marketing, clinical education, and technical troubleshooting
• Identifying and accessing key corporate resources to meet the needs of partner laboratories (e.g. IT, Customer Service, Logistics, Clinical Research, Medical Affairs, etc)
• Developing key customer/account action plans both in conjunction with the lab partners and independently
• Working with other EU staff (Medical Affairs, or Technical Services) to develop training for either the lab partners or key accounts for these lab partners
• Developing and improving information interfaces between parties involved in assay distribution by analyzing needs of partner and enlisting the appropriate internal resources from inside Monogram
• Working with MSLs and Pharma commercial counterparts to disseminate information about Trofile and education laboratory personnel and physicians as appropriate
• Ensuring that defined contractual obligations and performance metrics of lab partners are met
• Identifying opportunities to grow the Trofile business in assigned markets and opportunities to distribute Monogram’s broader testing portfolio through these channels
• Cultivating relationships with other key laboratories to enhance distribution network over time
• Supporting the Market Development Team (based in US) in new market analysis as Trofile™ expands beyond initial key markets in EU
• Keep abreast of developments scientifically and commercially in HIV diagnostics and laboratory industry in EU; provide competitive intelligence to international business unit

Note: Position will be based in EU subsidiary headquarters of Monogram which is currently being established. Some opportunity to work remotely is possible. Travel within EU expected 30-60% of time with potential for 1-2 trips to US per year.

Job Duties
Qualifications and Criteria:
• 7-10 years of business experience; experience in a life sciences company a must; diagnostics industry and/or HIV experience is a strong plus
• 5+ years in account management and/or sales
• Fluency in English plus one additional major EU language (French, German, Spanish, Italian) is highly preferred
• Experience in an entrepreneurial setting – small company experience is a plus
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet commitments and demonstrate responsive follow- through in areas of responsibility; experience managing information-based or IT-intensive projects is a plus
• Self-motivated, independent worker who requires minimal daily management
• A track record of increasing responsibility in previous roles and of rapid learning
• Demonstrated success in learning complex medical topics and translating those for diverse audiences
• Knowledge of laboratory market in EU a strong plus
• University degree required, advance degree in business a plus
